These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by O'Brien Plumbing & Roofing (NSW Fair Trading Licence LIC311087C). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices include GST and are based on the scope of work described. If additional work is discovered during the job, we will seek your approval before proceeding and provide a revised quote for the extra work.
Residential work: payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commercial work: payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date unless a credit account has been established. We accept cash, card, bank transfer, and BPAY.
All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties on parts and materials are passed through to you and vary by product. Warranty claims must be reported within a reasonable time of discovering the issue.
You may cancel a booking with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out fee to cover the allocated technician time and travel.
Our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or refunding the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, damage caused by third parties, or issues arising from the customer's failure to follow maintenance recommendations.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for purpose, and be completed within a reasonable time.
